Newcomers and Neighbors of Greater Houston (formerly Memorial Area Newcomers), established in 1957, is a woman's social club with membership open to both new and established residents of greater Houston. Our mission is to offer a warm welcome to both the newcomer and the established resident of greater Houston, as well as to provide opportunities to develop lasting friendships.

Each month we host a luncheon for members and their guests, which features a program and/or speaker.

Throughout the month small activity groups, consisting of women with common interests, meet regularly as announced in the monthly newsletter. Please click on the Activities tab to find out more.

Luncheons

Our luncheons are typically held on the third Wednesday of the month (Please check Newsletter or calendar for exact date).  We also host a pre-luncheon game area, where members and guests can elect to play Bridge, Mah-Jongg, Dominoes or any game of their choosing.

Membership is open to new and established residents of the greater Houston area.  All members of NNGH may remain members of the organization as long as they continue to pay their dues.  A prospective member may attend no more than two functions as a guest prior to paying membership dues.  

Our Full Year Membership runs from June 1st of the current year through May 31st of the following year.  The cost for Full Year Membership is $40.

Our monthly newsletter is emailed to registered members at no charge.
