Philanthropy is a wonderful way for NNGH to give back to our community. The main project we chose for this year is Boys and Girls Country, a residential program supplying a loving nurturing home environment to eighty-eight children between the ages of 5 and 18.
During the year we have voluntary collection jars on the tables at our monthly luncheons with all proceeds going to the charity.
Each month in our newsletter, a list of needed items for Boys and Girls Country will be published. These items may be brought to the luncheon or given to any board member or activity chair. All items will be delivered to the charity on a monthly basis. Also, we welcome donations of hotel shampoos, conditioners, soaps and lotions. These items can be placed in the basket located at the Volunteer Services table.
